I'm actually reading this on a break from studying Heart of Darkness for my English Literature exam tomorrow, so reading about the meaning of Diabolos kinda made me go O_O because, well, I was studying a book all about that just now XD Will definitely be listening to the album a lot though, I can call it getting into the feeling of the novel XD (Nope, not procrastinating *cough*)

I got the impression that he meant it's going to take him until 2008 to complete the whole MOON story, as opposed to just the Darts bit. Although that'd mean he'd have to do the other chapters something like twice as fast as he got through the first one he did, and that'd be worrying... But if it's just the Darts story, which he said is really just a moment in between chapters, then that means the rest of MOON is going to take forever. Not that I'd mind that. I've always thought that he works like someone who's trying to fit in as much as they possibly can in the short time they have left, but it occurs to me that it's quite possible he considers the normal span of a human lifetime to be too short...

I don't think that 2007 was just a random number, it just doesn't seem like him (Although 1540 was originally a random number, wasn't it?). My theory is that whatever it is that he thinks will be completed by 2008, he originally wanted finished in 2007 but when he realised that that's not going to be possible he just said it was a random, meaningless date *duck* Well, either way I was never too worried about it, I think he's going to be performing until he physically cannot do it anymore...

Also nice to see that he realises when he's pushed himself too hard... I hope he takes a break after this (And by break, I don't mean "release two collections of re-recorded previous songs and a song of love ballads" like he did last time he was taking a "break" O_o)

I soo wish I was going to the concert T_T It's worse because I could have been at least in Japan at the time of the concerts, and quite possibly in Tokyo, and then there would have been a possibility of me going... But then I would have missed all the celebrations for the end of school and stuff so I chose that... But if I'd heard all this stuff about the concert at that point it would have been a muuuuuuuch harder decision (Although I imagine it'd be more painful to be IN Japan at the time and still not be able to go, which would have been probable...)

Yes. Exactly. This is totally what I was saying when I mentioned a couple of days ago that you can't have light without darkness and that that darkness exists in every living being. It is just a total yin and yang thing to me. And to except all of that I think is a sign of being more evolved. It is also a very Native American way of viewing things and life in general. I think that I am going to do some more research on that aspect of it.

Only by acknowledging and doing something about your weaknesses can you keep improving. Ignoring will lead you nowhere. Back to square one 'tis all.

Gackt has got things down pat, doesn't he? xD Arrgh we think so similarly it's creepy. I only began to realize such things a few years ago. I was so used to evil and malicious things happening to me that I was convinced there was no good. And then I saw beautiful things, good things, and they took my breath away on a cool wind and changed me, too. Recently I feel I am beginning to understand the balance of good and evil. I take every good as a blessing, and I try to brush off the evil, and that alone gave me balance.

I really love that you put all the meanings for hageshii, hakanai, setsunai and utsukushii. :D I always have so much trouble 'choosing' the right word to use when he uses those specific words because there are so many meanings. Some Japanese words just seem to carry so much 'weight' as compared to English words, and they can never be translated simply.

When I first read that he was recording songs for the next album as well, I was soooo happy and excited. I suspected the story would be continuing in the next album, but I wasn't expecting it so soon! And to think, he wants to continue telling the story until 2008... that made me so happy as well. ^^ If only for the fact that it would get people to stop speculating about that 2007 thing. I think he's got really big things planned for the next three years... books, movies, video games, anime. His dedication to this project always makes me think, isn't there more that I want to accomplish in my own life?

Once, Gackt ever mentioned that Crescent is the end of Moon, I think it's the title on one of his articles on the magazine. But then, Diabolos came up and Gackt said that this still the same story from Moon. I didn't get it at first, but it make sense now, so He wants to make the story ends on 2008, thank you Imee chan^^, you've done so much for us Gackt fans who read your journal, keep up the great work.

I believe MOON is the whole story, and those albums/movies he came out with were simply part of the chapter (chp 4). Wasn't known to anyone else at that point of time though, so when he announced "MOON is back", everybody was in a buzz.

DIABOLOS is from in between Chp 2 and 3... I wonder what the next one will be and what setting it will be from. ^^
